| He safeguards from maladies, grief and aquatic animals in a number of ways. The enemy may strike many a blow, yet a minor injury cannot be inflicted on the body. He holds out his hand to protect and hampers the multitude of sins from approaching. What else need I mention to you about other matters, He even protects (the embryo) in the membrane of the womb (of the mother). |
For those who can not read Gurmukhi:
| Shabad Interpretation in Hindi:
प्रभु कई प्रकार से मनुष्य को रोग से, संताप से, जीव जंतुओं से एवं हर किसम की बिपदा से बचाता है. परमात्मा अपने सेवकों का दुश्मन के हर प्रहार से रक्षा करता है. पभु अपने हाथ से सेवकों को समस्त पापों से बचा कर रखता है. मैं क्या क्या वर्णन करूं, प्रभु तो मां के गर्भ में भी जीव का पालन करता है. |

Dear Susheel Kaur Ji
For your convenience we have added romanised version of the Shabad with English translation. I think this should help you to understand the meaning of the Shabad and help you to read it. You may read and hear the Shabad simultaneously. You can find this Shabad in Amrit Keertan Page 158.
Dear Gurpreet Ji,
You and your companion have sung this shabad marvellously. I have been recently learning Kirtan including few ragas and can appreciate the hard work and talent that is evident in your singing.
May WaheguruJi bless you and eveybody involved in this noble endeavour. Please have me on your mailing list (jsjtech@yahoo.com.au). Can I ask – is this shabad based on any particular raag?
Regards
Jaspreet Singh
GurFateh Jaspreet Singh ji,
Thanks for appreciating the Gurbani singing by Gurmat Gian Group.
This particular Shabad “Rogan Tay Ar Sogan Tay..ਰੋਗਨ ਤੇ ਅਰ ਸੋਗਨ ਤੇ ਜਲ ਜੋਗਨ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਬਚਾਵੈ” has been sung in Raag Aheer Bhairav.
If you like raag based Kirtan, must hear our latest Album “Raag Ratan” a compilation of All the 31 Shudh Raag of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

Gurpreet Ji,
I have bought the set along with few other listed CD’s. I will place these in our Blackbun Gurdwara Sahib library so our sangat can enjoy your singing.
As a suggestion you may consider providing CD’s as mp3 download (and charge accordingly). This may save you quite a bit of processing and offer convienence to purchasers.
Regards
Jaspreet Singh
Yes, it is a good idea to provide mp3 downloads on charge. Many have suggested the same. But we are unable to manage the technical side of it from here in India. We would welcome if someone could help it out.
