Shabad Interpretation in English:

Bowing before the Guru, I have now, attained peace. I have abandoned cleverness, quieted my anxiety and renounced my egotism. When I look around, I find everybody fascinated by worldly love. It is then that I hasten to seek Guru’s protection. Showing mercy, the Guru has engaged me in God’s service, and the fear of death has vanished from me. Through great good fortune, I met with the saints, and I swam across the worldly ocean of fire.

Says Nanak, I have obtained total peace at the feet of my Lord.

Shabad Veyakheya in Punjabi:

    Dear Gurpreet Kaur Ji,

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

I and my wife have listened to practically every Shabad we have known to be sung by your group. It is indeed Guruji’s Mehar that all of you sing so mellifluously and effortlessly. The way you all blend and weave your voices is just brilliant.

Particularly appreciable is the fact that you work to sing in Raags too. Shabads sung in Raags truly touch our hearts. Keep up the great work.

    Fateh.
