 Raag Devgandhari
Raag Devgandhari is 6th Raag to appear in the raag wise collection of Shabads in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Devgandhari  is an ancient raag and is not sung among the mainstream Indian Classical Musicians these days. In Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Shababds in this raag are from pages 527 – 536;  9 pages; In total 47 hymns.This raag is considered as a morning time raag.
In Aroh Gandhar & Nishad are absent. Vadi: Madhyam, Samvadi: Sharaj. Jatti is Aurav Sampoorn. Thaat: Bilawal (Asawari ang). 

In Avroh, both Nishad & Dhavat are both komal and sudh. The use of komal Dhavat & Nishad in avroh is like this: Ma Pa Dh(k) Ni(k) Dh(k) P.

   Sa Re Ma, Pa Dha Sa

Avroh:

   Sa Ni Dha Pa, Ma Pa Dha(k) Ni(k) Dha(k) Pa, Ma Ga Re Sa.

Vadi:

    Ma

Samvadi:

    Sa

Pakar:

 Dh(k) Ni(k) Dha(k) Pa, Ma Ga, Sa Re Ma, Ga Sa Re Ga Sa Sa Re Ma.

    satnam ma’am just wanted to know the usage of da shuddha and dha komal in devgandhari rag? is it not of the asavari thaat ? and while ascending can komal dha be used pl explain the usage of such varied swears in this raaga?
