THIS IS A VERY GOOD SITE TO HAVE A LOT OF SHABAD COLLECTION WITH VIDEOS.
I JUST WANT TO ADD ONLY ONE THING THAT WHERE U PEOPLE ARE CONNECTING SANGAT WITH MELEDIOUS SHABADS SANGAT WILL NOT STAY AT ONLY MELEDIOUS OR RAAG THEY MUST COME ONE STEP MORE FORWARD THAT WAT THE SHABAD IS SAYING TO US (GURBANI VICHAR)THIS IS MUST,WITH THIS EFFORT PEOPLE WILL FIND CHANGE IN THEIR LIFE STYLE WAT THE GURU IS SAYING TO US & WAT WE R DOING & WE REALISE THE VALUE OF AMRIT & SIMRAN.
SO THIS IS MY REQUEST YOU THAT NOT ONLY IN ENGLISH U ALSO GIVE THE VICHAAR OF SHABAD IN PIUNJABI OR HINDI.

Thanks for your suggestions and appreciation. We have taken note of your suggestions. We are in look out for Gurbani translations which is of a little different style. We want translations of the Shabads with Bhav Arth rather than literal translations. May be after sometime we can put up translations in Punjabi and Hindi too as suggested by you.

wjkk wjkf, nice to hear your efforts in promoting Gurbani Classical music in a relatively new package. Regarding the Gurbani “Arth”, i have a suggestion; opinions may differ, but i think, to start with, for correct understanding of Gurbani, literal meanings hold a much greater importance because Gurbani has a very special kind of grammar which keeps a check that nobody can interpret it with a different meaning, Bhai Sahib Singh Ji’s “Darpan” is an authentic attempt to preserve the sanctity of Gurbani grammar, and i feel that it’s a moral duty of all the Sikhs to honor it. “Bhav Arth” is a subject of “Bhav” which is, though beautiful, influenced by the subjective mental state of a human being and hence prone to error. Sorry for being so elaborate but i felt like talking!

I fully appreciate your input in this matter. We find that people do understand Gurbani differently. We do tend to interpret Gurbani as per our level of understanding of teachings of our Guru. Literal meanings and grammar would always remain the same. But the interpretation of a poetry changes with time, place and person.
I find that a very frequent Gurbani word ‘Amrit’ has created so much confusion and matter for debate among Sikhs.
Thanks for your time. Do keep visiting this Blog and share your thoughts and enjoy Guru’s Bliss.

I have really enjoyed listening to many of these shabads. Many thanks to Manvir Jee for bringing this treasure to my notice. I wish to continue listening to further contributions by Gurmat Gian Group.
