O my mother, I have gathered the wealth of the Lords’ Naam. My mind has stopped wandering and has come to rest. Attachment to maya has escaped from my self, and immaculate spiritual wisdom has welled up within me. Greediness and inducements do not touch me as I have grasped the devotional worship of the Lord. The cynicism of countless lifetimes has been eradicated, since I obtained the jewel Naam of the Lord. My mind is rid of all desires, and I am absorbed in the peace of my inner being. That person, unto whom the merciful Lord shows compassion, sings the glorious praises of the Lord of the universe. Says Nanak, this wealth is gathered only by the Gurmukhs.

ਓ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ, ਮੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਧਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੇਯਾ ਹੈ. ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਚੰਚਿਲਤਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਓਹ ਸੰਤੋਸ਼ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਗਯਾ ਹੈ. ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਗਯਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਯਾ ਦੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ. ਲੋਭ ਤੇ ਮੋਹ ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇਰੇ ਨਹੀ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਕਯੋਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭਗਤੀ ਨੂ ਅਪਣਾ ਲਿਤਾ ਹੈ. ਨਾਮ ਰੂਪੀ ਰਤਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੰਕੇ ਮੁਕ ਗਯੇ  ਹਨ. ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਇਛਾਵਾਂ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਮੈ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹਾਂ. ਜਿਸ ਉਪਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਦਾਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਯਾਲ ਹੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਓਹ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ. ਨਾਨਕ ਕਹੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਧਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਨੂ ਹੀ ਹੋਂਦੀ ਹੈ.

ओह मेरी माँ, मैंने प्रभु नाम धन कि प्राप्ति कर ली है. अब मेरे मन कि चंचलता ख़त्म हो गयी है और वोह शांत अवस्था में आ गया है. प्रभु के निर्मल ज्ञान प्राप्त होने कारण  मेरे में से माया की ममता समाप्त हो गयी है. लोभ और मोह मेरे नजदीक नहीं आते क्यूँ कि मैने प्रभु भागती को अपना लिया है. नाम रूपी रतन प्राप्त होने से जन्म जन्म के  शंकों का निवारण हो गया है. मेरे मन कि सभी तृष्णा समाप्त हो गयी हैं और मै मन कि शांति मे लीन हो गई हूँ. जिस मनुष्य पे किरपा निध प्रभु दयालु होता है वोह ही प्रभु गुण का गायन कर सकता है. नानक कहते हैं, इस धन कि प्राप्ती किसी गुरमुख को ही होती है.
