The Perfect Guru makes everything perfect. He implants the Amrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, in the heart. By His Will, He makes us happy. He shows Mercy to His servant. He does not consider the karma of my actions, or my Dharma or my spiritual practices. Taking me by the arm, He saves me and carries me across the terrifying world-ocean. Waheguru has removed all the dirt in me, and made me fresh and pure. I have sought the Sanctuary of the Perfect Guru. He Himself does, and causes everything to be done. By His Grace, O Nanak, He saves us.

ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਪਣੇ ਸਪਰਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਆਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰੂਪੀ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂ ਵੀ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ. ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਪਨੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਦਯਾ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ. ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰਮ ਜਾਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਦਿਖਾਵੇ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਗੌਰ ਨਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਹਾ ਪਕਢ਼ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂ ਇਸ ਖਤਰਨਾਕ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਲਿਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ. ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਗੂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨੀ ਪੈਣ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਮੈਲ ਨੂ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰ ਮੇਨੂ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ. ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਭ ਕੁਛ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸਦਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਉਧਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਯਾ ਹੈ. 

सम्पूर्ण गुरु अपने स्पर्श में आने वाले मानुष के मन मे अमृत रुपी नाम का वास कर उस को भी संपूर्ण कर देता है. उस का हुकम अपने सेवकों को दया और ख़ुशी प्रदान है। सम्पूर्ण गुरु मेरे कर्म एवं धार्मिक दिखावों पर गौर नहीं करता और मेरा हाथ पकढ़ कर मुझे इस खतरनाक संसार समुन्दर से पार लेजाता है. सम्पूर्ण गुरु की शरनी द्वारा प्रभु आप ही मेरे मन को साफ़ कर मुझे निर्मल कर देता है. परमात्मा सभ कुछ आप ही करने वाला है और उस की किरपा द्वारा ही नानक का भी उधर हो गया है.
