O Dear Lord, merge me with yourself. Let me merge in the True Naam through Guru’s Shabad. All the ages were created by You, O Lord. Meeting the True Guru, one’s intellect is awakened. When the mind is in spring, everyone is rejuvenated. Blossoming forth through the Lord’s Naam, peace is obtained. Contemplating on Guru’s word, one remains in springtime for ever, with the Lord’s Name enshrined in the heart. When the heart feels like springtime, the body and mind too are rejuvenated. O Nanak, this body is like a tree which bears the fruit of the Lord’s Naam.

ਓ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਜੀ, ਮੈਨੂ ਅਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਲੈ. ਮੈਨੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦਵਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਕਰ ਦੇ. ਸਾਰੇ ਜੁਗ ਹੋਂਦ ਵਿਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੀ ਹਨ. ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝ ਜਾਗ ਉਠਦੀ ਹੈ. ਜਦ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਬਸੰਤ ਦਾ ਖਿਰਾਵ੍ਹ ਹੋਵੇ ਸਭ ਪਾਸੇ ਹਰਿਯਾਵਲ ਨਜਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ. ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਰਾਹੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਫਲਦਾ ਫੁਲਦਾ ਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੰਦਾ ਹੈ. ਜੋ ਮਨੁਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਵਚਨ ਨੂ ਧਯਾਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂ ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਓਹ ਸਦਾ ਬਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਵਿਚ ਰਹੰਦਾ ਹੈ. ਜਦ ਚਿਤ ਬਸੰਤ ਦੇ ਖਿਰਾਹ੍ਵ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਮਨੁਖ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਦ੍ਰੀ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਭਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ. ਨਾਨਕ ਕਹਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਅਵਾਸ੍ਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਵਰਿਕਸ਼ ਰੂਪੀ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ.

ओ, प्रभु जी, मुझे अपने में समा लो. मुझे गुरु की वाणी द्वारा प्रभु मे लीन कर दो. सभी युगों कि उत्पति  तेरे कारण ही है. सच्चे गुरु के मिलन से इंसान कि बुद्धि और समझ जाग्रित हो जाती है. जब मन मे बसंत का खिरावह हो सभ ओर हरियावली ही नज़र  आती है. सुआमी के नाम द्वारा मनुष्य फलित और खुश रहता है. जो मनुष्य गुरु के  वचन को ध्यान मे रखता है और सुआमी के नाम को चित मे बसाता है वोह सदा बसंत के आनंद में रहता है. जब मनुष्य का चित बसंत के खिरावह में होता है उस का शरीर और जिंदगी भी हरी भरी हो जाती है. नानक कहते हैं, इस अवस्ता में, इस वरिष रुपी शारीर में प्रभु के नाम रूपी फल का उदय होता है.
