ਕੇਦਾਰਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥
ਮਗਨ ਮਨੈ ਮਹਿ ਚਿਤਵਉ ਆਸਾ ਨੈਨਹੁ ਤਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਓਇ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਰ ਮੂਰਤ ਪਲ ਕੈਸੇ ਓਇ ਪਲ ਘਰੀ ਕਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
ਖੂਲੇ ਕਪਟ ਧਪਟ ਬੁਝਿ ਤ੍ਰਿਸਨਾ ਜੀਵਉ ਪੇਖਿ ਦਰਸਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
ਕਉਨੁ ਸੁ ਜਤਨੁ ਉਪਾਉ ਕਿਨੇਹਾ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਉਨ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥
ਮਾਨੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਮੋਹੁ ਤਜਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਧਾਰੀ ॥੨॥

Hindi Interpretation: मेरे प्रिय प्रभु की प्रीत मुझे बहुत प्यारी लगती है। मेरा मन ख़ुशी से मदहोश और चित विश्वास से भरपूर है, और मेरी आंखे प्रभु प्रीत में पूरी तरह से भीगीं हूई है। हर दिन हर पहर रुक सा जाता है, हर पल हर घरी कैसे बीतती है। पर तेरी किरपा से मन के कपाट खुल जाते हैं और तेरे दर्शन द्वारा हर किसम की तृष्णा समाप्त हो जाती है। मैं सोचता हूँ, वोह कौन सा उपाव है, कौन सा क्रम है, कौन सी सेवा है जो मुझे तेरी तरफ आकर्षित करती है। नानक कहते है, मान अभिमान और मोह को त्याग कर संत जानो की संगती से ही मनुष्य का उधार होता है।
English Interpretation: I love the Love of my Beloved. My mind is intoxicated with delight, and my consciousness is filled with hope; my eyes are drenched with Your Love. Blessed is that day, that hour, minute and second when the heavy, rigid shutters are opened, and desire is quenched. Seeing the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, I live. What is the method, what is the effort, and what is the service, which inspires me to contemplate You? Abandon your egotistical pride and attachment; O Nanak, you shall be saved in the Society of the Saints.
