Shabad Interpretation in English:
Rewarding is that service, which is pleasing to Guru’s Mind.
When Guru is pleased sins and misdeeds vanish.
The true disciple listens to Guru’s teaching diligently.
Those who surrender to Guru’s will, are imbued many folds, with love of Almighty.
This is the peculiar way of life of Guru’s Sikhs, in which he lives a life as per Guru’s teachings and feels blessed.
Shabad Interpretation in Punjabi:
ਓਹੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਏ । ਜਦ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਸਨ ਹੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖ ਨੂੰ ਧਯਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਤੇ ਸਮਝਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ । ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਕੀਏ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਕਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਅਨੰਤ ਦੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਨਿਰਾਲੀ ਹੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਓਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਤੇ ਮਨ ਕੇ ਆਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Shabad Interpretation in Hindi:
व्ही सेवा लाभदायक है जो सच्चे गुरु के मन को भाए। जब सतगुरु का मन प्रसन हो तो पाप और दुखों का नाश हो जा ता है। सतगुरु ने जो उपदेश दिया है उसे सिष्य को धयान पूर्वक सुनना चाहिए। जो मनुष्य सतगुरु के कीए को खुशी से स्वकर करते हैं वह अनंत वेह्भव का अनुभव करते हैं। गुरु के सिख की यह निराली ही अवस्था है जिस मे वोह गुरु के उपदेश को ग्रहन कर आनंदित अवस्था प्राप्त करते हैं।
