Shabad Interpretation in English:

He Himself is the enjoyer, and He himself is the enjoyment. He himself is the ravisher of all.
He Himself is the bride in her dress, He himself is the bridegroom on the bed.
My Lord and Master is imbued with love; He is totally permeating and pervading all.
He Himself is the fisherman and the fish; He Himself is the water and the net.
He Himself is the sinker, and He Himself is the bait.
He Himself loves in so many ways. O sister soul-brides, He is my beloved.
He continually ravishes and enjoys the happy soul-brides; just look at the plight I am in without Him!
Prays Nanak, please hear my prayer: You are the pool, and You are the soul-swan.
You are the lotus flower of the day and You are the water-lily of the night. You Yourself behold them, and blossom forth in bliss.

इस संसार के आनंद मई रस वोह आप प्रभु ही है और उस रस का आनद लेने वाला भी प्रभु आप ही है।

प्रभु आप ही परमानन्द है। प्रभु आप ही दुल्हन के वस्त्र मे है और वह खुद बिस्तर पर दूल्हा भी है।

मेरा मालिक प्रभु प्यार के रंग मे रंग हुआ है। वह समस्त सृष्टी मे पूरी तरह से सर्वव्यापी है।

वोह खुद मछुआरा और खुद ही मछली है और पानी मे जाल भी वोह आप ही है। वोह आप ही मछली पकड़ने की डोरी को डुबता है और आप ही प्रलोभन है। प्रभु का पयार अनंत भान्त प्रगट होता है। वोह मेरा प्रिय प्रीतम है। प्रभु अपने प्रिय जानो के अनन्त प्रेम मे मंत्रमुग्ध रहता है।

नानक की प्रार्थना है, प्रभु तू ही सरोवर है और तू ही हंस है। तूं ही दिन मे कमल और रात मे कुमुद है। प्रभु तूं आप ही इस प्रकृति सोंदर्य को निहार के आनंदित हो रहा ही।
