ਰਸਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੇਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ. ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਅਗੇ ਵੀ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਹਾਈ ਹੋਂਦਾ ਹੈ. ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣ ਨਾਲ ਤੇਰਾ ਹਉਮੈ ਦਾ ਰੋਗ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਆਤਮਕ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦੁ ਮਾਣ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ.  ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਰਸ ਜਿਸ ਸੇਵਕ ਨੇ ਚਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਾਇਕ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ.  ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਰਿ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਲੈ ਲਿਤਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੌੜਿਆ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ. ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ. 

मनुस्य को अपनी रसना द्वारा प्रभु नाम सिमरन करते रहना चाहिए. इस से अतयंत सुख एवं आनंद की प्राप्ति होती है और प्रभु नाम हर समय सहाई रहता है. प्रभु नाम का सिमरन करने से अहम रोग से निवारण मिलता है. और गुरु की किरपा द्वारा मनुस्य आत्मक राज का अन्नंद ले सकता है. जिस सेवक ने हरि रस का सेवन किया है उस की  मायक पदार्थों की तृष्णा समाप्त हो जाती है. जिस मनुस्य ने हरि नाम का सहारा ले लिया हो वोह उस के बाद किसी और सहारे को नहीं ढूंढ़ता है. जिस मनुस्य को गुरु से  परमात्मा के  नाम की बख्शीश हो जाती है, हे नानक, उस मनुस्य के सभी भय दूर जाते हैं. 

Great is the greatness of God, and glorious is singing the praises of Lord Almighty. Great is the greatness of God, for His justice is in accordance with Equity. Magnificent is the magnificence of God, as man gets the fruit of His mental actions. Magnificent is the magnificence of God, for He hears not the words of the traducer. Praise worthy is the praise of God, for He gives gifts without asking.

ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਹੈ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਤਮ ਹੈ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਜੱਸ ਗਾਇਨ ਕਰਨਾ। ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਹੈ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲਤਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੈ। ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਮਲਾ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ। ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾ-ਪੁਛੇ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

परमात्मा की उस्तुति  विशाल है और प्रभु का जस गायन करना भी अति उत्तम है. परमात्मा अत्यंत विशाल है और उस का इंसाफ सत्य है. महान है परमात्मा की महानता, मनुष्य अपने कर्मों का इंसाफ प्राप्त करता है. प्रभु महान है, वोह निंदक की बात नहीं सुनता है.  उस परमात्मा की महिमा अपरम्पार है कयों कि वोह बिना मांगे ही दान दे रहा है.
